CSU English Success

The Early Assessment Program (EAP) measures your English reading comprehension and writing skills near the end of the 11th grade. This test is designed to let you know in advance if you are ready for college English and is taken at the same time the CAASPP tests are taken each spring. If you elect to take the EAP English Test you will receive a letter at the beginning of your senior year informing you whether or not you can enroll in for-credit freshman English classes when you attend the CSU or if you will need remedial classes.

CSU Math Success
The Early Assessment Program (EAP) measures your math skills at the end of your junior year to let you know in advance if you are ready for college level work. If you elect to take the EAP Math Test you will receive an EAP status at the beginning of your senior year informing you whether or not you are ready to enroll in for-credit math courses.  If you are not ready, you can take advantage of your senior year to prepare for the CSU.
